Steve Jr. McVay

Steve Jr. McVay, age 76, of Williamsburg, Ky, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at his home.
He was born November 2, 1948 in Bell County, Kentucky to the late Steve Sr. and Beddie Shears McVay.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his companion, Margaret aka Lorene Jones, a son, Lonnie Jay Fuson; four sisters, Nannie Early, Brenda McVay, Ettia Lee Davis, and Bertha Jones; four brothers, Henry, George, Cleo and Tommie McVay.
He is survived by four sons, Billy McVay, Jackie McVay, Stevie McVay, and Lonnie McVay all of Williamsburg, Ky; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Evelyn Lay of Georgia, Cleda Caddell of Williamsburg, Ky., and Linda Baker of Williamsburg, Ky; four brothers, Allen McVay of Toledo, Ohio, Robert McVay, Emmanuel McVay, and Clayton Brown all of Williamsburg, Ky; several nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral service was Sunday, August 11, at Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ancil Campbell and Rev. Chuck Evans officiating.
Interment was in Jellico Creek Cemetery.
