Mildred Sue Bargo, age 79, of Williamsburg, KY., passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at U.T. Medical Center. She was born October 29, 1941 in Whitley County, KY to the late Adrian Rountree Sr. and Ruby Moses Rountree. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Bargo; two sisters, Maxine Moses, and Nadine Loomis; and two brothers, Adrian Rountree Jr., and Jimmy Rountree. She was a faithful member of the Mtn. Ash Church of God Mountain Assembly for over 65 years.
She is survived by six children, Dewayne Bargo of Williamsburg, KY, Sherry Rountree (John) of Williamsburg, KY, Tammy Chapman of Williamsburg, KY, Michael Bargo (Tina) of Cynthiana, KY, Penny Bargo of Williamsburg, KY, and Jamie Bargo (Trish) of Williamsburg, KY; eight grandchildren, Kasey Marando (Natale), Johnny Ray Bargo (Emily), Tonya Watson, Josh Bargo (Candice), J.J. Rountree, Felisha Wynn (Jeremy), Michael Bargo II (Morgan), and Kimmy Bargo (Robert Eads); several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Patricia Napier (David), and Phyllis Lawson; brother-in-law, Roger Moses; two sister-in-laws, Mary Rountree, and Amy Jane Rountree; special friends, Carolyn Bowman and Rebecca Hendrickson; several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral service was Sunday, October 17, at Ellison Funeral Home with Rev. Ulys Cox and Rev. Michael Bargo II officiating. Interment was in the Oaklawn Cemetery at Pleasant View.
