The Friends of the Corbin Public Library hosting art exhibit June 9

The Friends of the Corbin Public Library will be hosting a free Appalachian art exhibit starting at 6 p.m. on June 9.

The featured artist will be Barbara Willingham, a retired local art teacher.

Willingham will be “delving into her childhood growing up in Appalachia and how that has inspired her work,” according to a Corbin Public Library release.

The Friends of the Corbin Public Library will provide refreshments.
