Week 0 High School Football Results

Week 0 of the 2018 high school football season is officially in the books after Saturday evening’s contests.

On Saturday, the Corbin Redhounds made a major statement in their season opener, defeating visiting Whitley County 36-7 at Campbell Field in this year’s First Priority Bowl. The Hounds will welcome in Danville next week for game two of the 2018 Cumberland Falls Pigskin Classic. Whitley will host Leslie County at Colonel Stadium.

On Friday, both the Williamsburg Yellow Jackets and the Lynn Camp Wildcats opened their seasons with big wins on the road. The Jackets made the short trip down to Jellico, TN and came away with a 60-6 win, while the Cats secured a 54-15 victory at Knott County Central. Williamsburg will be back on the road next week at Somerset. Lynn Camp will be on bye.
