What a view: Despite all of the trouble caused by recent snow, ice and freezing temperatures, folks in our region were treated to a White Christmas in 2022. Right, an aerial view of downtown Williamsburg on Christmas day shows the area from City Hall up to the campus of University of the Cumberlands. Most of the snow fell during the overnight hours and into the early morning of last Friday, and temperatures remained low enough for it to hang around through the weekend and into early this week.
