Whitley County’s Volleyball team is the 2026 Kentucky 2A Championships state champions after defeating Lexington Catholic.
The Lady Colonels beat the Knights 3 sets to 2. Whitley County also defeated Warren East and Christian Academy of Louisville on their way to the title.
The team is four-time back-to-back 13th Region champions. They are currently 14-1 on the season.
