The annual Whitley County 4-H poster contest was held during National 4-H week with nearly 600 participants in grades 4 thru 6.
The winners were: Fourth grade, first place-Mark Sizemore, Whitley East Elementary, second place-Savannah Albertini, Boston Elementary, and third place-Austin McKeehan, Oak Grove Elementary; Fifth grade, first place-Allison Jones, Whitley East Elementary; second place-Lauren Elliott, Whitley Central Intermediate Elementary and third place-Erinn Sweet, 
Whitley Central Intermediate Elementary; Sixth grade, first place-Destiny Shriner, Whitley Central Intermediate Elementary, second place, Hannah Logan, Whitley North Elementary and third place-Cameron Johnson, Whitley North Elementary.
