Date:

Fifty-one-year-old Kathleen Durham was killed Friday night in a two-vehicle wreck in front of the Corbin Wal-Mart.

According to Kentucky State Police Division of Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Officer Mike Hamblin, Durham was one of four people injured when the 1996 Toyota Corolla driven by Aaron Durham, 18, of London, failed to yield the right of way and turned into the path of the Chevrolet Monte Carlo driven by Steven Blankenship, 19, of Corbin.

Kathleen Durham and another passenger in the Corolla, Cody Durham, 20, were flown to the University of Tennessee Medical Center. About 1:36 a.m. Saturday, Kathleen Durham was pronounced dead.

Aaron Durham and Blankenship were each treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Hamblin is continuing the investigation.
