Carl Croley Faulkner

Carl Croley Faulkner, age 68, of Corbin, KY, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center.
He was born on December 26, 1956, in Jellico, TN, to the late Herman Faulkner and Priscilla Siler Faulkner. Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Hamblin.
Carl proudly served in the United States Air Force. He was known for his hard work and his devotion to his family. He was a loving son, father, and papaw.
He took great pride in caring for his mother, Priscilla, throughout the years. Carl enjoyed the simple things in life, from his passion for dancing to his love for his horse, Misty.
He is survived by three children, Jennifer Roper (Dave) of Cincinnati, OH, Christopher Faulkner (Heather) of Corbin, KY, Keshia Hendrickson (Mark) of London, KY; seven grandchildren, Zachery Faulkner, Troy Faulkner, Emma Faulkner, Riley Hendrickson, Parker Hendrickson, Katelynn Williams, Miles Roper; his mother, Priscilla Faulkner; six brothers and sisters, Lois Davis (Bob) of Corbin, KY, Dewey Faulkner (Judy) of Corbin, KY, Angel Pennington (Charlie) of Barbourville, WV, Gayle Pennington (Mike Seeger) of Williamstown, KY, Tommie Faulkner of Barbourville, WV, Kenny Faulkner (Barbara) of Corbin, KY; brother-in-law, Archie Hamblin; several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM on Friday, January 17, at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerome Cox and Rev. Mark Hendrickson officiating.
Interment will be in the Siler Cemetery.
Visitation will be at 6:00 PM on Thursday, January 16, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Chris Faulkner, Troy Faulkner, Mark Hendrickson, Kenny Faulkner, Tommie Faulkner, and Dewey Faulkner.
