Carolyn Rickett

Carolyn Rickett, age 77, of Siler, KY, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at the home of her daughter. She was born March 23, 1948 in Whitley County, KY, to the late E.C. and Dora Lawson. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Amos David Rickett.
She is survived by two daughters, Samantha Gay of Williamsburg, KY, and Susie Wilson of Williamsburg, KY; one son, Eddie Gay of Williamsburg, KY; five grandchildren, Maranda Owens, Dillan Croley, Tyler Lawson, Kelly Gay, and Angel Gay; seven great-grandchildren, Madison Owens, Mackenzie Owens, Braxton Croley, Heaven Croley, Emma Howard, Bentley Howard, Dakota Gay; six sisters, Deanna Stephens (Larry) of Jellico, TN, Kathy Powers (David) of Williamsburg, KY, Thelma Foley (Arthur) of Williamsburg, KY, Connie Kay Lambdin of Corbin, KY, Molly Partin of Williamsburg, KY, Stacy Lawson of Williamsburg, KY; two brothers, Neddie Mack Lawson (Bobbie Jean) of Williamsburg, KY, David Lawson of Georgia; and several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral service were Friday, August 1, at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Darren Davis and Rev. Rick Croley officiating.
Interment was in the Rocksprings Cemetery.
