Extension Office presenting Farm Field Day August 29

Date:

The Whitley County Cooperative Extension Office will host its annual Farm Field Day on Friday, Aug. 29 at the Whitley County Fairgrounds located at 860 Savoy-Clear Creek Road in Williamsburg.

The event will start at 9 a.m. and will run until 1 p.m. It is free to attend and open to anyone interested in participating.

The event is a rain-or-shine event, so be sure to check the weather forecast and dress accordingly.

Activities during the event will include farm safety demonstrations, equipment showcases, educational booths, and a Hunter Education Range Day. Visitors can also enjoy hands-on activities, animal encounters, and fresh-from-the-field experiences. There will also be door prizes available and a complimentary lunch provided.
