The Whitley County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the publics’ help in locating three suspects who eluded deputies during the Dec. 13 early morning drug round-up "Operation Christmas Spirit."

"They have some way avoided us since the round-up," Sheriff Colan Harrell said Friday afternoon.

James O. Roberts, 32, is wanted on a charge of second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance. He is 6’1" tall, weighs about 245 pounds and has green eyes.

Matthew D. Johnson, 38, is wanted on a charge of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance. He is 6’0" tall, weighs about 300 pounds and has blue eyes.

Deputies are also looking for a third suspect, Tonya Estep, who is wanted on a first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance charge. She is often seen in the company of Johnson, her boyfriend, Harrell added.

Harrell said that anyone with information about the suspects’ whereabouts are asked to contact the Whitley County Sheriff’s Department at 549-6006 during normal business hours or through the Whitley County 911 Dispatch Center at 549-6017.

Harrell said that the information could also be passed along to any local law enforcement officer or agency.

He warned that additional round-ups are planed in the not too distant future.
