Helen L. Moses, age 72, of Williamsburg, KY, passed away Friday, January 16, 2026 at Baptist Health Corbin. She was born April 14, 1953 in Segium, Texas to the late Frank and Nernie Helen Purkes Sutton.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Moses; one brother, Frank Sutton; step-daughter, LaDonna Baker.
She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Croley (Howard Hubbs) of Williamsburg, KY; granddaughter, Bettina Croley Torres of Williamsburg, KY; two sisters, Nernie Saylor, Mabel McBride (Pat) of Prentiss, Mississippi; five brothers, George Sutton of Rockholds, KY; Joe Sutton (Faye) of Williamsburg, KY, Emerson Sutton of Williamsburg, KY, Jerry Sutton (Kathy) of Hamilton, OH, Phillip Sutton (Donetta) of Knoxville, TN; special niece, Donna Douglas of Williamsburg, KY; several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Wednesday January 21, 2026 at Ellison Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Cupp and Rev. Deion Meadows officiating. Interment will be in Highland Park Cemetery Davis Addition.
Visitation will be 11:00 am until funeral hour Wednesday January 21, 2026 at the funeral home.
