The Redhounds are holding their own with the Eagles. It looks as if the injury bug is hurting us a little. Blake Hendrickson went down with an ankle injury during a Wednesday morning practice and during the second quarter Josh Smith has appeared to turn an ankle as well.
All-Staters Josh Crawford and Chris Dowe dominated play early. Crawford haed 10 of the first 12 points while Dowe scored seven of his team’s eight points. Corbin had a 24-16 lead when Eastern went on a 9-0 to take a 25-24 lead.
Coach Jason Couch said his team would have to hold their own on the boards to beat Corbin, they have 22 at the half, Corbin has 14.
Turnovers, Corbin only has two at the break.
Josh Crawford has looked very impressive with 18 points on 7 of 10 shooting.
