The Corbin Redhounds improved to 9-1 on the season, defeating the Knox Central Panthers in Barbourville, 39-0. Next week the Hounds will host Knott County Central in the first round of the Class 3A playoffs.
The Whitley County Colonels were looking for their ninth win in a row at Leslie County Friday, but the Eagles were able to come away with the 37-20 win. The 8-2 Colonels will host Lincoln County next week in the first round of the Class 5A playoffs.
And the Williamsburg Yellow Jackets got their fifth win in a row Friday, defeating visiting Middlesboro 38-10. The 6-4 Jackets will welcome in South Floyd next week in their first round game of the Class A playoffs.
Lynn Camp had the night off Friday, and will travel to Pikeville next week.
