Leigh Burke indicted for theft, abuse of public trust

Former Whitley County School District Chief Financial Officer Leigh Burke is charged with theft and abuse of the public trust in connection with missing funds from the school district.

A May 24 jury trial has been scheduled for a former chief financial officer for the Whitley County School district, who was indicted Monday for theft and abuse of the public trust.
