Ruth Arlene Bryant, 89, of Falin Lane, Williamsburg, departed this life on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Baptist Health in Corbin.

She was born on February 8, 1928 in Whitley County, to the late Clint Smith and Elva Harris Smith.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Atrel Cole and a brother, Clinton Smith and his wife Jan.

Ruth attended Shiner Church of Christ.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Gail Croley of Williamsburg; grandchildren, Chris Croley and wife Cindy of Clarksville, TN and Tricia Croley of Williamsburg; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Daniel, Emily and Tanner; two great-great grandchildren, Kamon and Keleigh; a sister, Madge Fisher (Elwood) of Harrisonburg, VA; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.

Visitation will after 6 p.m. on Wednesday, February 15, at Croley Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 16, at the Davis Addition of Highland Park Cemetery with Mr. Gary Barton officiating.

She will be laid to rest in the Davis Addition of Highland Park Cemetery.
