Katie Hamblin, 68, of Williamsburg, departed this life on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset.
She was born July 17, 1950 in Chicago, IL to the late John Thompson and Minnie (Salano) Thompson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Minnie Thompson.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Henry “Hank” Hamblin of Williamsburg; two children, Lindsey Hamblin of Williamsburg, and Kelly Graham of Chicago, IL; two grandchildren, Natlie Hamblin of Williamsburg and Austin Michaels of Winter Haven, FL; one sister, Louise Fergerson of Chicago, IL; twin brothers, Johnny Thompson of St. Louis, MO and Jerry Thompson of Chicago, IL; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
She was loved by her entire family.
Private family services will be done at a later date.
