Sizzlin’ Hot offering free meal Jan. 23-24 for impacted federal workers

A Williamsburg restaurant is offering a free meal on Wednesday, Jan. 23, and Thursday, Jan. 24, to federal workers impacted by the partial government shutdown.

Sizzlin Hot Bar and Grill, which is located inside the Cumberland Regional Mall, posted on its Facebook page Wednesday morning that it was offering the free meals.

“If you’re affected by this shutdown Sizzlin Hot family wants to offer you a free meal today and tomorrow! Provide staff with your Federal ID is all you need to do! We will also feed your Spouse and Children,” the post stated
