Williamsburg National Historic District approved

Williamsburg now has a National Historic District.

This is a map for the new historic district in downtown Williamsburg.

Dr. Jim Moss, chairman of the Williamsburg Historic Preservation Commission, said that the United States Department of the Interior approved the creation of the historic district on April 25, and officials in Williamsburg were notified about one week later.
