Glenda Joan (Davis) Fackler, 85, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2021.
She was born August 16, 1935 in Knox County, Kentucky. Devoted wife of the late Keith Duane Fackler and loving mother of Bradley Duane Fackler (Lisa) and the late Brian Keith Fackler.
Glenda was a retired schoolteacher in the West Clermont School District retiring from Merwin Elementary in 1992. She was a graduate of the University of Kentucky and a diehard supporter of the Wildcats. Glenda enjoyed tending her flower garden, reading, and being active in her yard.
In addition to her son, she is survived by her grandchildren, Daren Fackler of Cincinnati, Colin Fackler of St. Augustine, FL and Ashley Fackler of Dunedin, FL. She is also survived by her sisters, Collen Martin, Wilma Wolf (Don) and Pat Cobb (James); brother, Bill Davis (Mary); and several nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Davis (Arlene); sister, Margaret Davis and brother-in-law Harold. Glenda left behind very special and dear friends, Cindy Dwyer (Casey), Karen Rebori, Dixie Conrad (Jay), Rose Bosse (Dave), and Shirley Manning.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 2:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 3:00 PM, Saturday, July 17th, at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home, 177 W. Main St., Amelia, Ohio. Pastor Phil Bradley will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to American Cancer Society, The American Heart Association, and/or Samaritan’s Purse.
