The Corbin Junior League All-Stars baseball team played in their first game of the 2015 state championship tournament Thursday evening at Lynn Camp High School. Things did not go their way as they ended up losing to Warren County by a final score of 5-2, but the good news is that they will live to fight another day.
Corbin now falls into the loser’s bracket, where they are scheduled to play again on Friday, July 17 at 8:00 p.m. against the winner of Ashland vs Prestonsburg. Look to the next edition of The News Journal, available Wednesday, July 22, for more details.
