Jerlyn Freeman Clark

Jerlyn Freeman Clark, 70, wife of the late Jackie Joe Clark, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Harrison Memorial Hospital.
A native of Williamsburg, Kentucky, born February 8, 1952 to the late Clifford Harold and Stella Early Freeman, she graduated from Williamsburg High School and Cumberland College and was a member of Carlisle Christian Church.
Jerlyn dedicated 38 years of her life to lovingly educating generations of children at Nicholas County Elementary School. She loved being outdoors and greatly enjoyed working in her garden and yard.
Surviving is a son, Loren Scott (Shanna) Clark, of Carlisle, and two grandchildren, John Wyatt and Sawyer Mae Clark.
Also preceding her in death were two infant sisters.
A graveside service by Rev. Steve Smith and Bro. Tony Smith was held on Monday, January 2nd in the Carlisle Cemetery Chapel.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Carlisle Christian Church or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
