She was born in Midland, MI on October 18, 1996, the daughter of James and Sherrie (Gipson) Strunk.

She had lived in Arenac County for the last 6 years, previously residing in Kentucky, and she was employed as a waitress at the Beaverton Family Diner.

Annmarie spent her short time here teaching those around her the lessons of unconditional love and the power of a smile. She was a very kind and loving person who always had a special place in her heart for those less fortunate.

She was a remarkable, compassionate woman who would always look out for the underdog, and she truly believed that she could make a difference. Although her time here was limited, the love she gave and received was anything but.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers: Elmer Bryant and Edel Strunk.

Her memory will be forever cherished by her loving parents: James and Sherrie Strunk of Twining; brothers: Nicholas James Strunk of Twining; Christopher Allen (Savanna) Strunk of Williamsburg; nephew: Nathaniel Ray Strunk of Twining; grandmothers: Phyllis Strunk of Beaverton; Faye Etta Bryant of Williamsburg; aunts and uncles: Steven John (Kayti) Strunk of Beaverton; Richard and Marietta Andrist of Beaverton; Krysta Strunk of Beaverton; Sheila Thomas of Williamsburg; James Gipson of Williamsburg, and many, many cousins.

Funeral services were conducted by Pastor Brad Lower Thursday, November 17, at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Beaverton, MI.
