Barbara Rose Moses, age 84, of Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on April 8, 2023 at the Baptist Health in Corbin, Kentucky.
Barbara was born on February 17, 1939 in Hazard, Kentucky to Roscoe Spencer and Mildred (Pulliam) Spencer.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Rosco and Mildred (Pulliam) Spencer; sons, Dana Moses and Hank Moses; grandson, Jody Moses; father of her children, Rev. Otha Moses; husband, Clayton Moses; daughter-in-law, Linda Moses; and brother-in-law’s, Roy Huddleston and Bobby Joe Lambdin.
Barbara is survived by her son, Rev. Michael Moses; daughter, Deanna Johnson; grandchildren, Staci Moses (Carl), Michael Moses (Laura), Sarah Paul (Walter), Holly Prewitt (Carl), Heather Prewitt, Hannah Moses, Roger Johnson, Jessica Moore, and Paul Johnson (Whitney); great-grandchildren, Alysha, Caitlynne, Colton, Moses, McKenzie, Madison, Morgan, Adalee, Bellah, Matthew, Milly, Cooper, Maverick, Connor, Dailee, Lynnie, Riley, Haylee, Macie, Paisley, and Kenley; sisters, Jean Breeding (Merle), Linda Huddleston, Donna Forgacs (Joe), Eleanor Spencer, and Angela Siler (Larry); daughter-in-law, Pauline Moses; several nieces and nephews; and all friends at Williamsburg Nursing and Rehab.
Visitation will be 11:00 AM until the funeral hour on Wednesday, April 12, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, April 12, at the Croley Funeral Home with Rev. Ben Morris and Rev. Darrell Bryant officiating.
She will be laid to rest in the Thomas Cemetery in the Wolf Creek Community.
Croley Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
