Harry Lee Long, age 65, of Elk Valley, Tennessee passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Huntsville Post-Acute and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born October 12, 1957, in Lake City, Tennessee.
Harry is preceded in death by parents, Oscar and Geraldine (Baird) Long; brother, Wayne Long; and sister, Katha Thomas.
He is survived by sisters, Joyce McGhee, and Marsha Bowlin; very special nephew and nieces, Adam, Jessica Thomas, Loucretta “Lynn” Bowlin Rose and husband Gregory, and Amanda Long; special uncle and aunt, Robert and Flonizee Long; special cousins, Jeff, Jerry Baird, and Andy Hamrick; and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel.
Memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, at Harp Funeral Home with Rev. Junior Dople and Rev. Waylon Hunter officiating.
The family will honor Harry’s wishes to be cremated.
