Betty June Higginbotham

Betty June Higginbotham, 78, of 3C Loop Road, Williamsburg, departed this life on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born on May 25, 1941 in Jellico, TN to the late James Lambdin and Rosie (Elliott) Lambdin Lovitt.

She was also preceded in death by her stepfather, Bill Lovitt.

Betty was a member of Jellico Creek Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph James Higginbotham of Williamsburg; daughter, Tammy Stephens (Tom) of Williamsburg; two sons, David Higginbotham (Lora) and Michael Higginbotham (Melinda) all of Williamsburg; ten grandchildren, Thomas Stephens, Sara Stephens, Julia Higginbotham, Mikayla Higginbotham, Melina Collins, Mark Goins, Elijah Goins, Chad Stephens, Ricky Stephens and Tabitha Collins; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Bunch and Rev. Doyle Lester officiating.

Following the service she will be laid to rest in the Jellico Creek Cemetery.
