Cancer survivor donates crocheted toboggans and caps to BHC Oncology Dept.

Bobbie Poynter, a Corbin resident and cancer survivor, noted in a Facebook post, “Glad to be able to pay it forward.”

Poynter donated 20 crocheted toboggans and caps to Baptist Health Corbin’s Oncology Department.

Her Facebook post read, “I know first-hand how badly cancer patients need to keep their head covered, even at home. I want to thank everyone who gave the yarn to me. I also want to thank all the nurses in Oncology for their care and respect they give their patients, including me.”
