He was born on March 18, 1949 in Whitley County, Kentucky to the late Carl and Mae (Davis) Barton. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Shirley (Gregory) Barton and brothers, Billy Delbert Barton and Paul Edward Barton. Harold worked for Pepsi Cola and Corbin Knox Ambulance Service. He loved watching UK Basketball and racing.
