Charles I. McVey, 85, of Ben Jones Loop, Williamsburg, departed this life on Friday, August 31, 2018 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. He was born on March 27, 1933. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Jim McVey; and a daughter, Debbie McVey. Charles was a veteran of the United States Navy. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Moses McVey of Williamsburg; daughter, Kathryn McVey of New York; brother, William McVey of New York; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
