Andrew Jackson Millsaps, Jr., 51, the husband of Norma Millsaps of Berea,  and formerly of Laurel County passed away Friday morning at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Stacey Lee Bryant,  44, of Freeman Hollow Road, Rockholds,  passed away on Monday, August 29, 2016 at the home of his parents. He was born on October 31, 1971 in Corbin, Kentucky to Donald Lee Bryant and Karen Jane (Baird) Bryant. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Katherine Baird and Lawrence and Polly Bryant. Stacey was a veteran of the United States Navy having served on the USS Harlan County during the Gulf War. Theresa Ann Henegar, 53, of Black Diamond Road, Corbin, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2016 at her home. She was born on March 18, 1963 in Corbin,  to the late the late Paul Creech and Kay Elliott Creech. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Britany Kay Henegar and her grandparents, Oscar and Shelby Elliott. Bonnie Maxine Silvers Medlin, 82, of Gray passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at her daughter’s home. The funeral was held Friday at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Pastors Sean Disney and Mark Sarver officiated the service. Burial was at the Cox Cemetery at Gray.

Lois Jean Stevens, 82, of Corbin passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016. Funeral was held Thursday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with burial following at Corinth Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Ruby Watkins Parker Craig, 97, of Corbin, passed away on Tuesday August 23, 2016 at her home. She was born on October 9, 1918 in Fariston, KY to the late Jake and Samantha Edwards Watkins. Ruby was a retired teacher from Laurel County Schools, a member of First Baptist Church in Corbin, and an avid gardener. Brenda Elaine Mosley, 74, of Corbin passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016, at Continue Care Hospital. She was a member of Central Baptist Church. One of her most enjoyable hobbies was quilting. Born December 25, 1941, in Corbin, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Bertha Rose. In addition to her father and mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Mosley; sister, Betty Carman; and brother, Barry Rose. Thelma S. Brewer, 83, of Corbin passed away on Monday August 22, 2016. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dennis Doyle Brewer on June 5, 2016. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca "Becky" Topolsky; parents, Robert Scalf and Judith Siler Scalf; and by her Brothers, Billy Scalf and Howard Scalf.
