Michael Allen Stanfill, 42, of Redbird Road, Williamsburg, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2016 at Baptist Health in Corbin. He was born on January 16, 1974 in Corbin, to Earl Stanfill and the late Joie (Hurst) Stanfill. He was preceded in death by a sister, Deloris Ann Stanfill. He attended Kentucky Hill Baptist Church in Jellico, TN. He is survived by his father, the Rev. Earl Stanfill of Williamsburg; two sisters, Margie Corrine Blackburn and Hallie Jane Lawson (Rev. Lois Jean Stevens, 82, of Corbin passed away Saturday, August 30, 2016. A celebration of life will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. The funeral will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with the burial following at Corinth Cemetery.

Carl E. Abbott, 73, of Jellico, TN, passed away August 10, 2016. He was born to Williams and Una Abbott in Jellico, TN on January 29, 1943. His siblings included: Gene, Thomas, Clyde and Margaret. He was married for fifty-four years to the love of his life Marlys, they had five children; Randy, Joni, Laura, Gina and Michelle; thirteen grandchildren and three and a half great grandchildren. Sergeant Starling Edward Powers, 80, of Highway 904 East, Williamsburg, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Continued CARE Hospital in Corbin. He was born on July 1, 1936 in Williamsburg, to the late Amos Pascal Powers and Cynthia (Perkins) Powers.  He was also preceded in death by a sister, Senia Beatrice Powers Stockton. He was retired from the United States Army 101st Airborne having served our country for over 33 years. Michael Richardson, 59, of Corbin passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Haven and Alberta Richardson, and by an uncle, Colan Helton. He is survived by a brother, Roger Richardson; three uncles: Dee Helton, Bill Helton, and Ron Helton; and by an aunt, Irene Hubbs; and many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Jeanette Mills, 76, of North 6th Street, Williamsburg, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Baptist Health in Corbin. She was born on January 22, 1940 in Rochford, England to the late George Thomas Newman and Rose Nellie (Harris) Moore. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Roy Newman and a grandson, Paul Legate. She was a proud member of Main Street Baptist Church.
