Margie Ann Hall, 77, of Highway 90, Corbin, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at her home. She was born on August 16, 1939 in Whitley County, to John Wesley Jones and Elva Mae (Rains) Jones. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Wesley Jones and Elva Mae Rains Noe; husband, Omer Bud Hall; two sons, Jerry Lynch and Bob Lynch; grandson, Kevin Canada; and three brothers, Don Rains, John Jones, and Rondall Lynch. Harold Childress, 67, of Corbin, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at St. Joseph Hospital East in Lexington, Kentucky. The funeral service was held Saturday, August 20, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Sester officiating. Dennis “Denny” Lay, Sr., 73, of Newcomb, TN passed away Friday, August 19, 2016 at his home. Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 23, at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Orick and Rev. Junior Dople officiating. Burial was in the Douglas Cemetery (Wooldridge Community). James D. Hill, 80, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016 at his home in Corbin. Funeral services were held at the O’Neil-Lawson Funeral Home Chapel with graveside services on Sunday in the Hill Family Cemetery. Military honors were presented by the American Legion Post #88. Billy Griffin, 78, of Jellico, TN. passed away Friday August 19, 2016 at the Beech Tree Manor Nursing Home in Jellico, TN. Funeral services were held Sunday August 21, at the Llewellyn Funeral Home Chapel in Jellico, with the Rev. Roger Stanley, Rev. Lowell Huddleston and Rev. Leonard Siler officiating. Interment was held Monday August 22, in the Paces Creek Cemetery at Manchester. The Llewellyn Funeral Home of Jellico, Tennessee honored to serve the Griffin family.

Betty Ruth Smith, 70, of Lipcomb Road, Corbin, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Continued Care Hospital in Corbin.
