He was born on November 2, 1939 in McCreary County, to the late William Calvin West and Temple (Waters) West.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Clyde West; a sister, Myrtle Waters and his father and mother-in-law, Henry and Bernice Gray.
Clifford was a Deacon at Concord Community Church for 22 years and a Mason at Grove Lodge #824 for 42 years.
