Charles R. “Charlie” Maxey, 58, of Corbin, passed away on Thursday March 2, 2017 at his home.
He was born in London, and was preceded in death by his father, Charles K. Maxey.
Charlie was an avid sports fan and fisherman.
A loving and devoted son, father, and grandfather, he is survived by his mother, Josie Baker Maxey; children; Candice Privett and husband Anthony; Lyndsay Floyd and husband David; Allison Maxey; Charles Daniel Maxey; and Katelyn Maxey; grandchildren; Bailey Miles, Aiden Miles, Kylie Privett, and Trenton Floyd; and by many family and friends including Susie McHargue, Blair Apgar, and Jim Sanders.
