Donald Ray Lawson,  63, of Williamsburg, passed away Tues. July 12th, 2016. He was the son of the late George and Mary Smith Lawson. Private burial will be at a later date. Bowling Funeral Home of London is in charge of the arrangements.

Mary Ruth Kidd Cooper, 70, of Corbin passed away Saturday, July 09, 2016 at her home. Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 13,  in the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Patricia Lynn Sharp, 61, of Corbin passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at Baptist Health Corbin. Funeral services were held Saturday, July 9, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Herb Wells, Rev. Selenia Elizabeth “Penny” Meadors,  86, of Williamsburg, passed away Sunday July 10, 2016 at Baptist Health Corbin in Corbin. She was born January 11, 1930 in Whitley County to the late George Heaton and the late Florence Childress Heaton. Funeral services were held  Wednesday July 13,  at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doyle Lester and Ray Ramsey officiating. Larry Dean Felts, 67, of Corbin, passed away on Saturday July 9, 2016 at Baptist Health in Corbin. Funeral service were held Wednesday July 13,  at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Felts officiating. Burial  followed in Felts Chapel Cemetery with military honors by American Legion Post #88 of Corbin. Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Eulis “Dude” Farmer, 89, of Corbin passed away Friday, July 8, 2016, at his home. Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 12, at New Hope Ministries Church of God. Rev. Paula Farmer, Rev. Michael Addison, and Rev. Paul Cooper officiating. Burial followed in the Resthaven Cemetery Mausoleum in Baxter, KY. Full military rites will be conducted by the Harlan Honor Guard. Mary Alene Parker,  73, of Maple St. Corbin, passed away Friday evening at the Rockcastle Regional Hospital in Mt. Vernon. Funeral services for Ms. Mary Alene Parker were conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon in the Laurel Funeral Home Chapel (formerly Corbin Funeral Home)with Pastor Sam Moore and Pastor Brandon Vann officiating. Wadley Arnold Hall, Sr.,  80, of West Hwy 204, Williamsburg,  passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Continued Care Hospital in Corbin.
