David Walker Frey,  42, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at his home in Naples, FL. Prayer was held Tuesday, May 3,  at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Father Jesu officiating. He was laid to rest following a graveside service conducted by Rev. Jo Ann Siler, 70, of Corbin passed away Thursday, April 28, 2016, at Baptist Health Corbin. A graveside service was held Monday, May 2, at McHargue Cemetery in Lily with Bob Lockhart officiating. Ronald James Hopkins, 67, of Corbin passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at Baptist Health Corbin. Funeral services was held at Central Baptist Church in Corbin Sunday, May 1, with Chad Fugitt and Travis Freeman officiating. Burial  followed in Cumberland Memorial Gardens at Lily. Norma Sue Ballou,  80, of 12th Street, Williamsburg,  passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Baptist Health in Corbin. The funeral service was held Sunday, May 1,  at the Main Street Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Wright and Dr. Jerry Lowrie officiating. She was laid to rest in the Highland Cemetery. Russell Jones, Rob Jones, Joe Keith Jones, Benny Taylor, David Ballou, Phil Brennenstuhl, Judge Brent Brennenstuhl, David Lennon, Donnie Witt, Bill Johnson, Lt. Col. Steve Croley, Russell Jones and Jim Powers  served as pallbearers. Jerry Edward Fox,  59, the husband of Diana Fox of Moore Hill Ave. Corbin,  passed away Thursday evening at his residence. Funeral services for Jerry Edward Fox were conducted on Sunday afternoon in the Laurel Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kevin Roach officiating. Burial followed in the Calvary Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky. Laurel Funeral Home is honored to be of service to the Fox family.

Ronald J. Croley,  55, of Newport News, VA, formerly of Williamsburg, KY, passed away Tuesday April 26, 2016 at his home. Memorial services were held Friday April 29,  at the Peninsula Funeral Home in Newport News, VA. William L. “Bill” Barnhill,  72, of Corbin passed away at his residence Wednesday, April 27, 2016, with his family by his side. Funeral services were held Saturday, April 30, , at West Corbin Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Howell officiating. Burial followed in Cumberland Memorial Gardens. Honorary pallbearers are employees of Whayne Supply Company and Bill Hammons’ Sunday School Class at West Corbin Baptist Church. Casket bearers will be David Elliott, Wayne Logan, Peyton Barnhill, Cameron Vaughn, Christopher Broughton, Ray Therrian, Luke Neeley, and Jeff Therrian. Eunice D. Slusher,  83, of Forest Avenue, Williamsburg,  passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at her home. The funeral service will be Saturday, April 30,  at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doyle Lester and Rev. Rob Powers officiating. She was laid to rest following a graveside service May 1, at the A.R. Dyche Cemetery in London. Her grandsons served as pallbearers. Demmie Gail Sawyers,  50 of Robinson Road, London, passed away on Wednesday morning at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington. Funeral services were conducted Friday at the Laurel Funeral Home Chapel (Formerly Corbin Funeral Home). Burial followed in the Upper Mulberry Cemetery in Williamsburg. Pamela Joyce Day Knuckles, 59, of Woodbine, passed away on Wednesday April 27, 2016 in London, KY. Funeral service was held Saturday April 30,  at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Locust Grove Cemetery in Keavy.
