Comic book fans will recognize this quote immediately as the personal creed of none other than Spider-Man. We do not live in a comic book world, however, and the sad reality is that those in power do not always act responsibly. In fact, many times the exact opposite is true.
This is the basic premise of a new book by Darlene F. Price, titled While No One’s Watching: The Shocking True Stories of Murder, Corruption, Greed, and Cover-Ups in Kentucky.
Price was in the local area over the weekend, showcasing her book at a special meet-and-greet event at the Corbin Public Library on Saturday, July 19.

One of the top orders of business at the last meeting of the fiscal court was to approve the first reading of an ordinance relating to street-legal special purpose vehicles. This stems from legislation that came out of this year’s meeting of the Kentucky General Assembly that allows for the legal licensing of special purpose vehicles, as long as they adhere to all required safety regulations.
White provided...

The Williamsburg BOE engaged in a Zoom call with Board Attorney Paul Croley to discuss the waiver opportunities.
Croley had concerns regarding the waiver, suggesting some modifications for certain exceptions so that...
