Bob Lawson and Brenda Singleton were married in Jellico, Tennessee on July 15, 1978. They will celebrate their 40th anniversary on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Indian Mountain State Park (shelter #2) at 2:00 p.m. All family and friends are invited to attend.

Donna Mae Carter and William Darrell Carter of Rockholds will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary on June 19 with a vow renewal to be held June 23rd at the Rockholds Community Church at 5 p.m. Donna is the daughter of the late Silas Hill and Mary Hill Brown and Elmer Brown. William is the son of the late Amos Carter and the late Edith Brown Carter Faulkner. They are the parents of son, Brian Hill and wife, Danielle. They have eight grandchildren. Friends and relatives are invited to attend the vow renewal.

Hunter - Carr to wed Brian and Carla Hunter wish to announce the wedding of their daughter, Brieanna Caroline Hunter to James Kevin Carr, son of Kevin Carr and Shelia and Jeff Petrey. The wedding will take place on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the Sally Gap Pumpkin Patch. All friends and relatives are invited to attend.

Mahan - Middleton recently wed Joanna Michelle Mahan and Jody Dewayne Middleton are pleased to announce their marriage, which was held Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the Barn at 3R in Williamsburg, KY. Joanna is the daughter of Delmar and Donna Mahan from Corbin, KY. She works as the Elementary Dean at Williamsburg Independent School. Jody is the son of Carl and Wanda Middleton from Gray, KY. He works for Windstream Communications.

Miss Valisa Durbin announces the forth coming marriage of her mother, Dianne Rennee Knuckles to Gregory Keith Lovitt. Dianne is from Mckee, Ky. She has a BA Degree in Criminology, Sociology, and is a certified Med Tech from EKU. Greg is from Williamsburg, Ky. He is the son of Charlotte Lovitt and the late Charles (Doc) Lovitt. He has a masters in counseling and psychology from Lindsey Wilson College. The wedding will be at Grace Fellowship Church in Williamsburg, Ky. on Saturday, May 19th, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. The reception will be at the Merry Jefferies Center. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Sydney is the daughter of Theresa Rapier and Tom Logsdon. She is a 2016 graduate of Whitley County High School and is currently enrolled at Somerset Community College pursuing a nursing degree. Davey is the son of David and Rebecca Warren. He is a 2016 graduate of Corbin High School and is currently employed at Firestone.

Cassandra’s maternal grandparents are Wesley Ray Jones (Nancy) and the late Cassandra Tuggle Jones. Her paternal grandparents are Lula McFarland and the late Vester Lee McFarland. The bride is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and she currently works at Vapor Fox in Corbin, KY as a manager of that location. Mia Olsen, of Destin, Florida and Kenneth Mills of Siler, Kentucky exchanged vows in a wedding held October 22, 2017 at the Robison Creek Missionary on Hwy 229, just out of Barbourville, Kentucky. Mia is the daughter of Sean Olsen and Sharee Olsen of Willard, North Carolina and the granddaughter of Lucy Sidberry and also William Hall both of Willard, North Carolina. Kenneth is the son of Susan Saylor of Siler, Kentucky and the grandson of Richard and Iva Saylor also of Siler, and Blanche and Ken Lawson, of Williamsburg, Kentucky. The couple will reside at Barbourville, Kentucky. Kenneth said, “From Florida to Kentucky, boy did I get lucky!”

Jackson - Hubbs to wed Georgianna Jackson, of Rockholds, and Jeffrey Jackson, of Corbin, would like to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Amanda Leanne Jackson, of Rockholds, to William Franklin Hubbs, of Rockholds, son of Mike and Donna Hubbs, of Rockholds.
