Charles “Chuck” Eugene Catron, born on October 23rd, 1941, lived a remarkable life filled with love, dedication, and unwavering faith. Charles was a beacon in his community, known for his warm heart, steadfast character, and the joy he found in his faith.
He was a devoted member of Cooks Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge 502 F&AM, where his commitment and service were an inspiration to many. Charles was a beloved resident of Williamsburg, Kentucky, where he spent his years creating memories and touching lives in ways that will never be forgotten.
Charles’ life was marked by the deep love he held for his family. He leaves behind his devoted wife, Darlene (Smith) Catron, and their proud children, Rick (Donna), Russ (Carla), and Randy (Anastasia) Catron, Holly (Mike) Stephens, and Casey Moses (Amy Scalf). Charles’ light will continue to shine brightly through his grandchildren, Alyssa Jones, Andrew Catron, Austin Tyner, Michael, Tabor, Heaven, Country, and Rowdy Stephens, and his great-grandsons, Carson and Cohen Jones. Each one of them carries cherished memories of Charles, his wisdom, his stories, and his love that will continue to inspire and guide them.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Hazel (Alley) Catron; his brother, Dr. Frank Catron; and sister, Mary Perkins.
Visitation for Charles will be on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 12:00 pm, at the Croley Funeral Home, 103 South 2nd Street, Williamsburg, Kentucky, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 pm at the same venue. The Reverend Jewell “Jam Up” Lawson and Reverend Caleb Hunter will be officiating.
Charles will be laid to rest at the Pleasant View Cemetery Oaklawn Addition, Pleasant View, Kentucky, at 4:30 pm.
