Cheryl Kay (Gibson) Lambdin, age 74, of the Sled Creek Community of Duff, Tennessee passed away Thursday, July 25, 2024, at her home.
She was born July 7, 1950, in Scott County, Tennessee.
Kay is preceded in death by father, Delus Gibson; mother, Dora (Lawson) Gibson; brothers, Willie, Carl and Albert Gibson; sisters, Etta Harness, Doris Smith, Izilla Harness, Georgia Harness, and Irena Olinger.
She is survived by husband, Lonnie Lambdin; sons, Gregory Lambdin and wife Jessie, Gary Lambdin, Daniel Lambdin, Isaac Lambdin, and Colton Lambdin; daughters, Gail Metcalf and husband David, Kaylee, Haylee, Sarah, Megan and Olivia Lambdin; grandchildren, Josh Leffel, Aaron, Robert, Matthew Lambdin, Joseph, Cody and Ethan Metcalf, Zach Parker, Dillion Parker and Keaton Lambdin; adopted grandson, Chris Taylor; great grandchildren, Levi Wallen, McCoy Massengill, Rubie Metcalf, and Kinsley Deaton; and one she claimed as her granddaughter, Cassie Gibson; sisters, Florena Massengale, and Glenna Harness; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn her passing.
Funeral service was Sunday, July 28, at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Allen Marlow and Rev. Roger Hurst officiating.
Burial was Monday, July 29, in the Lambdin Cemetery, Sled Creek, Duff, Tennessee
Harp Funeral Home of Jellico in charge of arrangements.
