CHS Cheerleaders make it to finals of NHSCC

Date:

The Corbin High School cheerleaders recently returned home from their trip to Walt Disney World, where they participated in the National High School Cheerleading Competition. The team made it to the finals in the medium varsity division II, where they placed 12th.

Coach Shonya O’Neill said of the experience, “My girls had a goal of competing on that stage with the best of the best in the country, and not only did they compete, but they placed in the finals. I could not be more proud of them. We would all like to thank the News Journal and everyone else who has supported us on this journey.”
