Daisy Morgan, 84, of Williamsburg, passed away Tuesday November 29, 2016 at Baptist Health Corbin in Corbin.
She was born February 22, 1932 in Whitley County, to the late Henderson Cox and the late Rosie Collier.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Dewey Edward Morgan, two grandsons, two brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by six daughters, Betty Roginski (Ray) of Corbin, Emma Woods, of Rockholds, Shirley Lovitt (Kenny Allen) of Rockholds, Wanda Lovitt (Rev. Morse Lovitt) of Corbin, Loretta Canada (Everett) of Williamsburg, Tina Smith (Kevin) of Williamsburg; two sons, John Morgan (Shirley) of Corbin, Larry Morgan (Lucille) of London; 22 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, 17 great-great grandchildren, two sisters Flora Young of Williamsburg, and Elsie Waters of Revelo; brother Don Morgan of Nancy, several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services were held Sunday, December 4, at the Ellison Funeral Home with Rev. Calvin Lovitt, Rev. Gerald Mullins and Rev. Morse Lovitt officiating.
Following the service she was laid to rest in the Highland Cemetery.
