Dewey “Bobby” Hazelwood, 82, of Corbin, passed away at home Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 10:50 p.m.

He was born April 13, 1935, in Madison County, the son of William and Minerva (Parker) Hazelwood.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Gerry Wells; three sisters-in-law, Bonnie Wells Edna (Allen) Hazelwood and Alice (Hobbs) Hazelwood; one brother-in-law, Roy A. Anders, two nephews, and two great nephews.

He is survived by one son, Ricky Lee Hazelwood, of Hamilton, OH, three brothers, Ralph Hazelwood and wife, Geralene, of Hamilton, OH, James E. Hazelwood of Franklin, OH, Ferndale Hazelwood of Hamilton, OH and one sister, Sylvia Lorene Anders, of London, and one brother-in-law, Jim Wells, of Corbin; and many nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at O’Neil Lawson Funeral Home in Corbin on Saturday, April 14.

Burial will follow in the Wells Family Cemetery on Willow Lane in Corbin.

O’Neil – Lawson Funeral Home in Corbin is in charge of the arrangements.
