Donald Joe Powell, 74, of Lily passed away Saturday, September 3, 2016 at his home.
He was a son of the late Delmer and Hazel Marie Hyden Powell. A brother Wallace Powell and sister Brenda Sue Burkhart also predeceased him.
Donald had been a farmer and of the Holiness faith.
Survivors include seven children: Ora Jean Wagers, Donna Sue Jarvis, Barbara Ann Cannon, Lottie Marie Mills, Hazel Ann Branham, Priscilla Faye Hamblin, and David Dewayne Powell; 16 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; a sister, Cathy Hillard; five brothers: Delmus, Woodrow, Ronnie, Richard, and Gary Powell; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Ronnie Ball officiating.
Burial will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens.
