Dora Goldie Canada, 78, of Hazel Park, Michigan and formerly of Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on Friday, August 16, 2019 at the Ascension Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan.

Dora was born on March 11, 1941 in Williamsburg, to the late Rev. Melton and Ettie Mae (Wingfield) Canada.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sisters, Elva Fyffe and Ella Harris and her brothers, J.B. Canada, Emery Canada and Rev. John Canada.

Dora is survived by two brothers, Clay Wendell Canada and his wife Lois and Dewey Lee Canada of Williamsburg; special friends, Nellie Mayer and Robbie Webb of Hazel Park, Michigan; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.

Dora will lie-in-state from 12 noon until the funeral hour on Thursday, August 22, at the Canadatown Holiness Church.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m.Thursday, August 22, at the Canadatown Holiness Church with Rev. Ronald Canada, Rev. David Rose and Rev. Rodney Sulfridge officiating.

Following the service she will be laid to rest in the Canadatown Cemetery in Williamsburg.
