Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) recognized graduates from its six academic colleges during Spring 2024 commencement ceremonies held on May 10 at Alltech Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington.
“EKU graduates embody the spirit of excellence and perseverance. They leave our university not just with a degree, but with the skills, values and determination to make meaningful contributions to society,” said EKU President David McFaddin. “I am confident that each of our graduates will make a positive impact in their communities, the Commonwealth and beyond.”

Out of EKU’s class of Spring 2024, 39 percent are the first in their families to attain a higher education degree. The degree programs with the most graduates included psychology, nursing, criminal justice, aviation and occupational science.
