Edd Davis, 74, of Rockholds, passed away Tuesday April 30, 2019 at the Select Speciality Hospital in Lexington, Ky.

He was born July 17, 1944 in Whitley County, to the late Tom and Amy Gibson Davis.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers Charlie Davis, Clarence Davis and George Davis; and a sister Lavena Maiden.

He was a member and past Master of Williamsburg Masonic Lodge # 490 F&AM and an Olieka Shriner.

He is survived by a son, Edd Davis Jr. (Thelma) of London, KY; two daughters, Lana Mitchell (Billy) of Rockholds, and Carolyn Sue Blankenship (Steve) of Corbin; eight grandchildren, Steven Blankenship, Christopher Blankenship, Holly Head, Jessica Davis, Billy Mitchell, Tommy Davis, David Davis and Austin Davis; several great grandchildren; two sisters, Esther Patrick of Rockholds, Lena Mae Boyd of Carlinville, IL; two brothers, Tom Davis (Brenda), Carl Davis all of Williamsburg, several nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

The funeral service was held Thursday, May 2, at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harold Long officiating.

A graveside service was held Friday, May 3, at the Oaklawn Cemetery Pleasant View.

Williamsburg Masonic Lodge #490 F&AM will conduct the Masonic Rights at the graveside.

Ellison Funeral Home was entrusted with these arrangements.
