Dulano “Hoss” Sawyers

Dulano “Hoss” Sawyers, 85, of Norwood, OH, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2019, at his home.

Born in Whitley County, he was the son of the late Era and Edita Bennett Sawyers.

He was a veteran having served in the National Guard, and he loved fishing and hunting.

In addition to his parents, Dulano was preceded in death by his siblings Jo, John, Alfie, Edward and Sylvester Sawyers.

He is survived by his wife Eslie Sawyers; several nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law Maxine West and Irene Sowders, and brother-in-law Oscar Tucker.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 8, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.

Burial will be in the Locust Grove Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ian West, Tyler West, R.J. Logan, Jamie Dople, Eric Poynter, and Ray Bryant.
