Rosella Clarkson Marshall was born October 19, 1935 to Vernon and Bertha Clarkson.
She was raised in Rockholds, by her grandparents J.D. and Rachael Clarkson.
At 15 she married Ed Meadors of Jellico, TN and moved to Indiana. They raised two boys Ivan Meadors and Tony Meadors Ph.D.
Hard work raised Ed and Rosella from comical poverty to respected, affluent citizens of Greenwood, IN.
They divorced in 1976 and Rosella did marry twice more for short periods.
In 1992 she became a working woman and was self-supporting and self-sufficient for over 25 years.
Rosella passed peacefully April 30, 2019.
Rosella is survived by almost 50 direct relatives including, sons Ivan Meadors and Anthony Meadors; brothers Estil Clarkson, Gary Clarkson, Wayne Lester and Oral Burke; grandchildren Whitney Rolley, Haley Morgan, Ivan “Joey” Meadors, Candice Sa and Martin LaBrecque. The entire family, countless great-grand-children, and a host of friends to mourn the loss of this unique, bundle of energy. Aloha
The funeral service was held Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doyle Lester officiating.
Interment was held in the Broyles Cemetery at Rockholds.
